The objective in the development of the Boker Plus Kalashnikov was to integrate design elements of the AK47 assault rifle. CNC milling was chosen over diecasting as the manufacturing method for the handle in order to achieve the highest degree of precision. It is made of black hardcoatanodised 6061T6 aluminium and has nonslip inserts made of grey G10. They feature the same contour as the front handguard of the famous assault rifle. The most striking key recognizable feature is the blackcoated blade made of D2 which stylistically corresponds to the bayonet blade of the AK47.
