Description
Faxons pencil barrels are renowned for their lightweight performance. Fully stress relieved we carefully designed the barrels taper to remove weight while maintaining performance. The result is the lightest barrel in the industry and one we are fully confident to put our Faxon shield on. Faxons .308 barrels feature 110 twist rifling for full stabilization across all common .308 loadings. Our barrels are chambered to .308 Winchester SAAMI specification for maximum versatility. Manufactured inhouse in Cincinnati these barrels are fully stress relieved airgauge tested and 11 degree target crowned to ensure superior accuracy. Quality is imbued into our barrels from the start. We start with the best materials either certified 4150 MilSpec steel or 416R Stainless. From there each barrel goes through a battery of tests at each operation until finished in Nitride and final inspected. All barrels are individually checked for headspace by precision custom hardened gauges.
