The Disruptive Environments Heavy Chest Rig (D3CRH) was designed as a no-frills load carriage solution with optimized magazine pouches for support of 7.62x51 weapons platforms (.308 platforms). The four integrated magazine pouches are dimensioned for carriage of 7.62x39 and 7.62x51 magazines and are still capable of carrying 7.62x35" 5.56x45" and 5.45x39 magazines utilizing the adjustable shock cord and pull-tab retention system for secure storage. The back of the integrated magazine pouches also features nylon webbing for the addition of MP2 Inserts (sold separately). MP2 Inserts provide secure retention of nearly all rifle magazines without the need for bungee cords" buckles" or hook and loop flaps. When run as a standalone platform" the Heavy maintains a low profile capable of being worn fully loaded under a normal/loose fit jacket or sweatshirt without overtly printing. When run on an armor platform with a quick release system" the Heavy Chest Rig can be attached or stowed in seconds giving the end user the versatility to transition from low vis to high vis or vice versa.
