The Midwest Industries Alpha Series M-LOK Handguards brings the AK platform into the 21st century. Machined from 6061 aluminum and given a durable hard coat anodized finish. The Alpha series dust cover for the AK Alpha series M-LOK handguards offer extremely rigid lockup ensuring dust and dirt does not enter firearm and utilizes two aluminum and two steel stability struts for a solid lock up. Their dust covers require no permanent modifications needed for installation on the MI AK Alpha Series handguard or firearm allowing the user to put the firearm back to stock form if desired. Midwest Industries states that the recoil spring button is designed for most AKM's with rear trunnion width up to .440".
