The AK Alpha Series Optic Mount is not compatible with other Midwest Industries generations or other manufacturers products. It is only for use with MI AK Alpha Series handguards MIAKALPHA6 MIAKALPHA10.0. The mount is an extremely rigid optic and red dot mount for use with Picatinny mounted sights and maintains factory rear sight with lower 13 cowitness sight picture. Utilizes two aluminum and two steel stability struts for a solid lock up. 4point attachment to MI AK Alpha Series handguard ensures optics hold zero. MIAKALPHAT2M version allows for use with Aimpoint T2 pattern optics.
