To ensure clean casts even after years the mould is machined to exact specifications. This mould is also made from solid cast iron that prior to being machined is precision ground square.
Another key feature is the sprue plate that measures 3/16 inches. This plate is constructed from solid steel held in place with screws and spring washers made from steel. Also for perfect mating of blocks steel alignment pins are used.
