The simple to use PGS II is one such device. The P2P PGS II pepper gel self protection device sprays out a stream of concentrated pepper gel that also contains UV marking dye to help police in suspect identification.
Up to 13 separate short bursts of pepper gel can be released from the 11g pepper gel cartridge at up to 15 feet in distance which puts a respectable distance between you and a threat and gives you multiple bursts should there be more than one threat. The PGS II is equipped with a 200 lumen LED flashlight that is activated when the grip safety is depressed (meaning automatically when you grip the device).
The PGS comes with (1) 11g pepper/UV dye capsule and (1) CR123 battery. The pepper gel that comes with the PGS II is made by SABRE and is the same police-strength protection that many law enforcement agencies use. Pepper in gel form like this virtually eliminates wind blowback with no in-air atomization meaning it only affects the intended target or threat it directly contacts. It’s safe to use pepper gel spray indoors too because it is designed not to affect others in your immediate area.
